Tuesday:
6th grade had current events, then explored a bit of Florence, Italy (one of the birthplaces of the Renaissance). Lastly we did a web activity involving a time machine trip and mystery to save the Mona Lisa for Leonardo da Vinci. There was no homework.
8th grade had current events, discussed the Gettysburg Address, looked at the causes of the Civil War and how it split the nation, and began Glory. Homework is to look at the Gettysburg Address and think about why it is considered to be such a great speech.
